What were we saying?

About the BBC’s perspective on the Palestinian catastrophe, now playing out in Gaza and the West Bank, they wring their hands as if: “Oh we aren’t allowed to report from Gaza so here’s someone in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv…” Dropping the documentary because it featured “… the son of a Hamas official”? We forget that Hamas won their election to govern the territory in 2006 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_Palestinian_legislative_election). And they formed a government. Just because we didn’t like them doesn’t alter the fact that the civil bureaucratic infrastructure was all run by “Hamas officials”, who were petty bureaucrats doing municipal jobs.
