Outsideleft Sunday Poet

I am very pleased to have been asked to contribute a poem to Outsideleft, “I Know You’re in Pain.” https://www.outsideleft.com/main.php?updateID=2955

Jay Lewis, who is one of the editorial team, approached me after I spoke verse at Verve Open Door in Birmingham on 16 Jan 24. We exchanged email addresses. A week later, I saw him at the Glee Club. He asked me if I got his email.  I hadn’t seen it. But to be fair, he had just sent it.  I hadn’t heard of Outsideleft, but the links were there, and I browsed for a long time. It is a very good-looking publication with an easily navigable archive. The writing was clear, and I liked the angles taken by the various writers, editors, and reviewers. Layout and webography is smart. Have a look.
