Finally have my site up and running again. It has always been a bit confusing. I have had bits and pieces of sites since about 1997 when I got a Compuserve account. That quickly morphed into TheLastPost, a hand crafted htm place where I exercised my early learning technology writing. mySpace, LiveJournal and TypePad followed. My TypePad site went up when I started my PhD in 2004. I called it rWorld, for Research World. It was my research world. rWorld2 was my first WordPress site: just the second rWorld. Bur gradually the rWorld came to signify, maybe only to me, a challenge to the iWorld that Apple was building: a challenge to the selfcentred, consumerist web that was hatching all around.
